This Cookie Policy explains which cookies and similar technologies are used on the Cozelia website, for what purposes, for how long, and how you can accept, refuse or withdraw your consent at any time, in accordance with Article 82 of French Law No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978, Article 5(3) of Directive 2002/58/EC (ePrivacy) and the guidelines and recommendation of the CNIL of 17 September 2020.
Your choices. You can change your cookie preferences at any time. Refusing is as easy as accepting, and refusing has no effect on your ability to browse the Website or place an Order.
1. Who is responsible
The Website is operated by COZELIA SA, société anonyme registered with RCS Paris under SIREN 883 482 777, VAT FR55883482777, with its registered office at 141–219 Boulevard Macdonald, 75019 Paris, France (email: info@cozelia.com, telephone: +33 1 99 00 47 26). COZELIA SA is the controller for trackers placed by the Website. Third parties that place trackers through the Website may act as independent or joint controllers for their own processing, as indicated below.
Personal data collected through trackers is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
2. What cookies and trackers are
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device (computer, smartphone, tablet) when you visit a website. "Trackers" also include similar technologies such as local storage, session storage, pixels, tags, scripts, software development kits and device identifiers, which store or read information on your device.
- First-party trackers are placed by the Website itself.
- Third-party trackers are placed by another domain, such as an analytics or advertising provider.
- Session trackers are deleted when you close your browser; persistent trackers remain until their expiry date or until you delete them.
3. Consent and how to manage your choices
3.1. On your first visit, a banner informs you of the use of trackers and offers two buttons of equal prominence: "Accept all" and "Reject". Trackers that require consent (audience measurement and advertising) are activated only if you click "Accept all". If you click "Reject" or close the banner without choosing, only trackers exempt from consent are used.
3.2. Your choice is recorded on your device under the key cozelia_consent_v1, with the value "all" (accepted) or "necessary" (refused), so that we do not ask you again at every visit. We ask for your choice again no later than thirteen (13) months after it was recorded, and earlier if the purposes or the trackers used change significantly.
3.3. You may withdraw or change your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it, by clicking the "Change cookie settings" button at the top of this page. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal. Trackers already placed are no longer read after you refuse, and you can delete them through your browser settings (Section 8).
4. Trackers exempt from consent
These trackers are strictly necessary for the provision of the service you expressly request (browsing the Website, placing and securing an Order) or for storing your cookie choices. In accordance with Article 82 of the Loi Informatique et Libertés, they do not require your consent. Blocking them may prevent the Website or the order forms from working properly.

5. Audience-measurement trackers
These trackers allow us to measure the number of visits, the pages viewed and the performance of the Website in order to improve it. They are placed only with your consent.

6. Advertising and conversion trackers
These trackers allow us and our advertising partners to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns, attribute Orders to the campaigns that generated them, limit the number of times you see the same advertisement, build remarketing or exclusion audiences and show you advertising tailored to your interests. They are placed only with your consent.

The names and durations of third-party trackers may change at the provider's initiative. The provider's documentation prevails for trackers placed on its own domain.
7. Google Consent Mode
The Website uses Google Consent Mode (version 2). For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the signals analytics_storage, ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization are set to "denied" by default. In that state, Google tags do not store or read analytics or advertising cookies on your device and may only send cookieless pings without identifiers, which Google may use to produce aggregated, modelled statistics. These signals are switched to "granted" only if you click "Accept all".
8. Browser settings
In addition to the controls offered by the banner, you can configure your browser to block or delete cookies and site data. Blocking strictly necessary trackers may affect the operation of the Website.

10. Data transfers
Some providers listed above may process data outside the European Economic Area, in particular in the United States. Such transfers are governed by an adequacy decision of the European Commission (including the EU-US Data Privacy Framework for certified companies) or by the Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission, as described in our Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in the trackers used or in the law. Where a change requires new consent, the banner will be displayed again. The effective date at the top of this page indicates the latest version.
